Great Movie Openings: The Naked Kiss
We’ve not looked at a tremendous movie opening for a while. Time to put that right. Tonights selection is the first couple of minutes of THE NAKED KISS
This 1964 Samuel Fuller film was hugely controversial but is an essential slice of 60’s American cinema where directors were pushing boundaries to find a new voice. The explosive start to this picture, featuring a genuinely frightening Constance Towers attacking the camera to a relentless jazz score is just right for the theme of the film…… Enjoy
